Recently, in Kashmir Valley, I saw completely red nice looking healthy buffaloes in a very beautiful ‘Aru’ village, 11 km away from Pahalgam in Kashmir valley. I’ve never seen them earlier in any colour other that black one. That is a cold place, full of snow & glaciers. I asked the villagers but they were clueless & said that those were always so there. What can be the scientific reason behind that as such ones were never visible elsewhere in entire valley & ladakh, I can say confidently. They remain red throughout the year. Can anybody provide plausible explanation ? I wanted to know scientific explanation of this thing.

OK..this is ‘only’ for those people who have visited Leh…Ladakh…or Kargil!! I am going to these places for my vacation….so any precautions that need to be taken…I mean about the weather or anything in general? A few people told me things there can get really difficult for migraine patients…is this true? Because my dad and I have both got this! Yeah…if you wish to…you can tell me about a few places which are ‘a must visit’!!!…Thank you!..:) I have also heard that India’s largest telescope is somewhere near Leh…tell me about that too! @sachmo…what?
